Accreditation applications are now open!
Accreditations for the 2026 edition are open. We accept applications via email at vojtech.sedlak@obscure.cz (or alternatively matej.vanek@obscure.cz).
Please use the following email subject line: BASINFIREFEST 26 - Accreditation Request - "Name of Media Outlets"
The deadline for submitting accreditation applications is June 15, 2026. After this date, it will no longer be possible to apply for accreditation under any circumstances.
Basic requirements for accredtiation:
Ongoing coverage of Basinfirefest by your media outlet (please attach all concerned links in the e-mail accreditation application):
Minimum requirement is publication of at least 50% of the official press releases. You can find press releases and materials HERE.

At least one original article.
Continuous coverage on social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and subsequent submission of shared materials as part of your accreditation request. (your media outlet does not use social media, you must provide proof of your overall media reach (print circulation, website traffic, radio show listenership, etc.)

- Email requesting accreditation must include the following information:
Name of the media outlet
Links showing where you have promoted Basinfirefest (website and social media).
First names, surnames, and roles (Press / Photo) of the journalists applying for accreditation.
Due to capacity limits, you may apply for a maximum of 2 accreditations per media outlet, with a maximum of 1 photographer.
List of interview requests. (Please note that interview requests sent directly to the bands or in a separate email will not be taken into consideration!)
Only submit one application per media outlet.
If there are multiple applicants from the same outlet, choose one contact person and one contact email.
Interviews with bands can only be requested via the same email you use for your accreditation application. Arranging interviews with bands independently on your own is strictly prohibited!
Accredited media agree to provide all their coverage of the festival (after publishing it themselves) to the Basinfirefest team. Materials must be sent to vojtech.sedlak@obscure.cz no later than August 1st.
Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee accreditation; every request must first be approved. Meeting the specified criteria will be a major factor when reviewing all accreditation requests for the Basinfirefest festival and when prioritizing interviews with performing bands in our Press Zone.
If your accreditation is approved, you must print your confirmation and bring it along with a valid ID card or passport. Festival wristbands will be issued at the Press Accreditation window (near the main entrance) upon presentation of these documents.
A PRESS ZONE will be available on-site, offering facilities, Wi-Fi access, and charging stations for your electronic devices. There will also be a schedule of interviews and a designated space to conduct them.
As part of your accreditation, you will receive access to the festival grounds and potentially a photo pass. Accreditation does not include camping, backstage access, or parking due to limited capacity.
Please keep in mind that Basinfirefest receives a huge number of accreditation requests every year, and it is simply not possible to accommodate everyone. The same applies to photo passes – space in front of the stages is limited. Once we have approved the requests of our long-term media partners, we will begin processing all other applications.
Please note that the organizers reserve the right to decline any accreditation due to missed deadlines, failure to meet the criteria, or submission of multiple applications without explanation. If your application is not approved this year, please understand.
