First time at Basin
Six Feet Under were formed in 1993 by Chris Barnes, then vocalist of Cannibal Corpse, and quickly established themselves as one of the most distinctive forces in American death metal. From the very beginning, they stood out with their unmistakable sound built on crushing, groove-laden riffs and Barnes’ unparalleled vocal ferocity. Their debut Haunted (1995) entered the history books as proof that death metal can be not only extreme and dark, but also catchy and accessible to a wider audience.
In the decades that followed, Six Feet Under became an unstoppable force, consistently delivering new albums and powerful live performances. Their body of work includes not only classic death metal anthems but also unique tributes to rock and metal legends in the celebrated Graveyard Classics series. Six Feet Under remain a symbol of perseverance and dedication to extreme music – a band that, even after more than three decades, shows no signs of slowing down and continues to prove why they are one of the cornerstones of the genre.
