At the turn of the millennium, dozens of bands were serving their audiences the then-popular nu-metal, but few have remained memorable to this day. American icons Drowning Pool are among those who managed to stand out enough to secure a place in the genre's history – after all, their 2001 hit "Bodies" became an inseparable part of metal culture and continues to retain its popularity today.

In 2002, however, Drowning Pool faced a tragic setback when frontman Dave Williams passed away, leading to several lineup changes. The period with vocalist Ryan McCombs (ex-SOiL) brought the band back into the spotlight with hits like “37 Stitches” and “Feel Like I Do,” solidifying their status as modern rock giants.

The year 2023 marked an important chapter in the band’s history – McCombs’ return and the reunion of the core members, united by friendship and shared passion. Their live performances continue to attract loyal fans, and the timeless energy of “Bodies” resonates with both long-time listeners and a new generation. With new music on the horizon, Drowning Pool are ready to continue their unstoppable journey.
