BELPHEGOR was founded in 1990 by its guitarist Helmuth. But it took him almost 10 years before he took his squad beyond the borders of his homeland. Since then, however, the dark squad has been roaming the stages of every continent without ceasing, constantly recruiting more loyal sheep to its flock until it managed to land a foothold with the giant Nuclear Blast in 2006.

The devils from Salzburg are interested in the darkest sides of witchcraft, demonology and corners where you shouldn't stick your nose, musically these bloodthirsty black/death wizards present themselves with high speed black/death metal that finds no way for any compromises.
