This wasn't supposed to happen

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that W.A.S.P. will not be performing at Basinfirefest this year. The band cancelled their entire scheduled European tour at the last minute due to serious family issues.

We firmly believe that we will be able to secure their participation for next year's edition. This is an incredibly heavy blow for our entire team. We began intensively addressing the situation several days ago. In the advanced stages of negotiations, we had two bands of comparable size and genre, but unfortunately, during the final stages of confirming the dates, a detail always emerged that caused the rescue mission to fail. We must openly admit that we did not manage to secure a full replacement, and we therefore ask for your understanding and leniency. As a lineup bonus, the German band Freedom Call,who currently rank as a genuine energy bomb, will perform at the festival, alongside local classics Arakain.
