CORVUS CORAX - Kings of the bards, ancient melodies and music of times past: with fascinating giant drums and handmade bagpipes, Corvus Corax revive the spirit of old times. Berlin musicians have made a significant contribution to the development of medieval music as we know it.
After years of medieval music, since 1989, they look back on a huge number of recordings and different projects. With mystical and myth-ridden albums like "Mille Anni Passi Sunt" they awaken the old gods and legends, with albums like "Sverker" and "Gimlie" they revise Celtic and Nordic traditions and present Viking culture in modern times.
On this year’s Basinfirefest Corvus Corax will present their album Era Metallum (2022)! This album is know for original fusion of medieval music and modern sound.
