Basinfirefest is already knocking on the door and that's why we decided to present you some interesting tips for a trip in the area, which could be a great diversification of your stay at our festival in Spálené Poříčí.

Spálené Poříčí is the smallest town to receive the honorary title of Historical Town of the Year, awarded for its exemplary care of monuments. The historic center consists of a large square with a church and a castle, slightly to the side lies the granary with the Jiří Winter Neprakty Museum and the Jewish cemetery and many more! The staff of the Information Centre, located in the picturesque folk cottage on the upper side of the square, will be happy to provide you with all important information.

- The Renaissance chateau was built in 1617 by Adam Vratislav of Mitrovice on the site of a Gothic fortress. Today it is used for the needs of a secondary school. The ceremonial hall with its original Renaissance ceiling, the ethnographic museum, the Renaissance sandstone portals and 2 large parks with a romantic gazebo are worth seeing.

- The brick lookout tower with a wooden superstructure and a steel staircase was built by adapting the no longer functional equipment of the former furniture factory. The top of the tower offers a beautiful view of the wide surroundings of Spálené Poříčí, Hvížďalka, Kokšín and other hills and places.

- The building of the granary was built in the 18th century as part of the castle estate. The building underwent a general reconstruction in 2010 and now serves as a gallery.

- The Hvížďalka recreational pond, where you will also find a waterfall.
It is a perfect place to relax and swim, which many of us appreciate in a summer heat!

If you have never been to Spálené Poříčí, you will definitely fall in love with this town!
